Gà ta mua về rửa sạch, rửa qua lại với rượu trắng để làm mất mùi hôi. Chuẩn bị nước dừa sẵn.
Dừa lấy nước cho vào nồi đun sôi, tiếp đến cho gà vào luộc khoảng 10 phút thì cho 1 muỗng cà phê muối, 1/2 muỗng cà phê đường, 1 muỗng cà phê bột nghệ vào rồi khuấy tan.
Nước sôi vớt gà ra cho vào thau nước đá lạnh. Để khoảng 3 phút thì cho gà vào nồi luộc tiếp.
Vo sạch gạo, cho và nồi nước luộc gà rồi nấu chín. Tranh thủ chờ cơm chín làm nước mắm: Cho vào chén 2 muỗng canh nước mắm, 2 muỗng canh đường, 1/2 muỗng cà phê tỏi và ớt băm, gừng cắt sợi. Khuấy tan đường.
Cơm chín cho vào chén nén chặt rồi cho ra đĩa. Gà chặt miếng vừa ăn. Ăn kèm là chén nước mắm ớt tỏi cùng với ít gừng cắt sợi nhé!
