Rau nhút nhặt sạch, ngắt thành những đoạn ngắn bằng ngón tay, rửa sạch. Đậu phộng rang giã dập.
Hành tây bóc vỏ, rửa sạch, cắt lát mỏng, ngâm với 1 muỗng canh giấm, 1 muỗng cà phê đường. Rau răm nhặt sạch, rửa sạch, cắt nhỏ.

Cho nước cốt me, 1 muỗng canh đường trắng, bột ngọt, nước mắm, tỏi băm, ớt băm vào tô khuấy đều làm nước trộn gỏi.
Cho rau nhút, rau răm, hành tây, tôm, đậu phộng rang, nước trộn gỏi vào trộn đều lên.
